Audax Designs New Retail Buildings for Yorkville Avenue
July 2016 - As part of First Capital's improvement plans for the redevelopment of the Yorkville Village shopping neighbourhood, Audax is working on the proposed designs for 102-104 and 106-108 Yorkville Avenue. The adjacent buildings are being designed to attract international luxury fashion brands and features natural stone with bespoke metal work and glass. Yorkville Avenue is evolving to become Canada's most luxurious shopping destination, similar in scale and feeling to world-famous luxury retail streets such as Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles and via Monte Napoleone in Milan. Chanel is leading this transition, as they have already made plans to move their Mink Mile flagship store onto Yorkville. Also French luxury footwear retailer Christian Louboutin decided to open their first Canadian freestanding store just across the street. Read more on Urban Toronto.
