The firm is looking for a Senior Interior Designer/Decorator to join their growing team.
The position of Senior Interior Designer/Decorator is a central role in the office. The selected candidate will lead the studio’s Interior Design and Decor projects and be responsible for their successful execution.
i. Diploma or Degree in Interior Design
ii. Minimum 7 years of experience working in high-end single-family residential interior design, interior décor, styling, and furniture design. Experience in additional project types considered an asset.
iii. Experienced in décor, sourcing, and managing FF&E budgets, procurement, and installations
iv. Fluent in current design trends, products, resources, and specifications
v. Strong hand drawing skills required
vi. Experienced with Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, 3ds Max, and Microsoft Office applications
vii. Experienced in the production of high quality renderings and presentation materials
viii. Personable with excellent verbal communication skills, able to lead client meetings, and exudes a sense of personal style
ix. Promotes core values of teamwork, quality design, professionalism and high client service
i. Lead design process with an emphasis on mood boards, furniture and décor selections, finish selections and specifications, styling, millwork design, and space planning
ii. Prepare and manage FF&E budgets, and coordinate and manage the procurement, inspection, and installation of items
iii. Provide competent technical expertise in the project’s design, sourcing, and specifications
iv. Act as the primary client liaison for Interior Design and Décor projects
v. Coordinate team of consultants and all activities related to the assigned projects
