This approach, which he coined as Human Architecture, aims to bring the tactile and human-scaled elements that were lost during the modern period back into contemporary design. Gianpiero is an active speaker in the design community. He was a lecturer at the University of Toronto's Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design, and sat on their faculty council as the representative from the Ontario Association of Architects. With several award-winning multi-unit and urban infill projects, Gianpiero is regularly invited to speak at industry conferences and panels about city building. As the former director of PUG Talks, Gianpiero has also organized many time-sensitive discussions about architecture and design in Toronto.
